Sultan Mohammad Ghori

 Mohammad Ghori's conquests.

Mahomad gori

Mohammad Ghori, also known as Muhammad of Ghor, was a powerful ruler in medieval India who founded the Ghurid Empire. He was born in the city of Ghor, which is located in what is now present-day Afghanistan.

In the late 12th century, Mohammad Ghori began a series of military campaigns in India. He conquered several important cities in northern India, including Lahore, Delhi, and Kannauj. He is perhaps best known for his defeat of the Rajput king Prithviraj Chauhan in 1192, which paved the way for Muslim rule in northern India.

Mohammad Ghori's empire was short-lived, however, and he was assassinated in 1206. Nonetheless, his conquests played a significant role in the spread of Islam in the Indian subcontinent and helped to establish the Delhi Sultanate, which ruled much of northern India for several centuries.
