Rana Sanga's Resistance.

 Rana Sanga's Resistance.

Rana sanga

Rana Sanga, also known as Maharana Sangram Singh, was a prominent ruler of the Rajput kingdom of Mewar in northwestern India during the 16th century. He was born in 1484 and ascended to the throne in 1509.

Rana Sanga is best known for his resistance against the expanding power of the Delhi Sultanate and the Mughal Empire. He united several Rajput clans and formed a strong alliance known as the Rajput Confederacy to challenge the Muslim rulers.

One of Rana Sanga's most significant battles was the Battle of Khanwa in 1527, fought against the Mughal Emperor Babur. Despite having a formidable army, Rana Sanga was defeated, and this marked the beginning of Mughal dominance in North India.

Although Rana Sanga suffered military setbacks, he continued to resist the Mughals and sought alliances with other regional powers. However, his efforts were hindered by internal conflicts and rivalries among the Rajput clans.

Rana Sanga's legacy lies in his valiant efforts to preserve Rajput independence and his determination to resist foreign invasions. His courage and military prowess continue to be celebrated in Rajput folklore and history.

It's important to note that my knowledge cutoff is in September 2021, so there may have been further developments or discoveries about Rana Sanga since then.
